A building block for career pathways is scientific literacy. In order to engage your community and all students in project-based learning designed to increase scientific literacy, it takes rigor and relevance, Superintendent and School Board Leadership. The JASON District Experience helps give opportunity to all students. Here are how two District Leaders have reached out to their community with JASON.

Superintendent, Portsmouth Public Schools
A lifelong educator, Dr. Elie Bracy, III serves as Division Superintendent for Portsmouth Public Schools. Dr. Bracy began working for the division in February 2015, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience as guidance counselor and school administrator.

Dr. Gwendolyn Shannon

Superintendent, Southampton Public Schools
Dr. Gwendolyn Page Shannon has served as Southampton County Public School's Superintendent since 2016. She has been a member of the education community for 21 years.
