The presentation will have an interactive component in the latter part of the presentation, but will begin with a description of the current state of public education, views and data from national education experts. We’ll provide ample evidence that if we don’t take significant action now, our incredibly valuable resource, the American teacher, will indeed become extinct. We cannot afford the implications of losing our public education system, a great American institution, which offers a very special individual opportunity to all for success. It has surely played an important role in the success of our citizens and our country. The personal touch of a teacher, and bond forged in the classroom, cannot be replaced by artificial intelligence, virtual teachers, on-line curriculum and other advanced technology.
